Antique Victorian Mahogany Inlaid Drop-Dial Wall Clock – D. Ketterer, Worcester – Working & Chiming

A very attractive antique mahogany drop-dial wall clock, the painted dial signed “D. Ketterer, 12 New St, Worcester”.

The clock has a decorative mahogany case with inlaid detailing, carved side supports and a lower glazed section showing the pendulum. The circular painted dial has bold Roman numerals and two winding holes.

The clock is fully working and chimes on the hour. It is supplied with its key and pendulum.

The dial measures approximately 12 inches / 30cm in diameter, with the overall case approximately 34 inches / 86cm high and around 16 inches / 40cm wide at its widest point.

There is age-related wear throughout, including marks, surface wear and some losses/flaking to the painted dial, particularly around the outer edge and winding holes. The case also shows general wear consistent with age and use. Please study all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the condition description.

A characterful period wall clock with attractive decorative inlay and strong local Worcester interest.
