I had this car for nearly 4 years with no issues at all, drive well, engine works perfectly until recently the auto gear started flashing when it goes to gear 3, the car still drive mint in gear 1 and 2 but once it goes to gear 3 all the PRNDS start flashing and won’t shift to gear 4. Took it to VW couldn’t see find the fault, took to another specialist said this is to do with auto box this is what I was told, the car drive well in reverse gear, due to this fault the engine light came up, everything else work fine, still have a MOT till November 2026, two keys, full service history in private garages, 165000 miles on the clock. Recently spent £800 for brakes and callipers at Kwik fit
