This is a genuine handsigned programme from a 1960s football game against Ipswich Town FC

The programme was purchase in part of a vintage bundle from a football fan and groundhopper - which various programmes from various teams throughout the 60's/70's/80's. I have matched the signatures with those players and they do match, very well. The whole team I believe is signed and there are some outstanding names on the programme.

This has been written on and does have some age related wear and tear, however it does have some fantastic nostalgic value to it.

Kick Off: 10th March 1973

Score: 2-1 to Arsenal
Competition: League Division One
Attendance: 34,636
Goal Scorers:
Alan Ball (P)
John Radford

Frank McLintock Defender/Midfielder
Peter Simpson Defender/Midfielder
Bob McNab Defender/Left back

Some signatures are obvious to make out such as Bob Wilson and Alan Ball.

Some pen marks on the program cover and Arsenal is scribbled out, the linesman, must have been replaced and has been crossed out and replaced with H.R.Robinson which after some research appears to be Horace Reginald "Reg" Robinson who didn't start refereeing until 1975 which would add up as most referees are linesmen first.

Lovely piece of English football history
