Offered is an original Real Photo Postcard (RPPC) featuring a bustling downtown street scene in Everett, Washington. This outstanding photograph captures a busy commercial district lined with period automobiles, storefronts, neon signs, and multi-story brick buildings, providing a wonderful snapshot of Pacific Northwest city life during the late 1930s or 1940s.

The image looks east along Hewitt Avenue, Everett's historic commercial corridor, where many of the city's best-known businesses were located. Visible signs include Costello's Shoes, Florsheim Shoes, the Central Building, Rogers Business College, and other local merchants that helped define downtown Everett during its busiest years. Several of these businesses are well documented in Everett's historic downtown records.

The street is filled with beautifully preserved period automobiles parked along both curbs and traveling the avenue, making this postcard especially desirable for collectors of vintage cars as well as Washington history. The photograph was produced by noted Northwest photographer Clifford B. Ellis, whose real photo postcards documenting Washington communities are highly collectible today.
