General Description

The УГР-4УK Series 3 is a combined analog cockpit instrument designed and manufactured during the Soviet era. It serves as the primary indicator for the gyromagnetic compass and the automatic direction finder (ADF/radio compass), centralizing heading data from the Soviet-designed GMK-1A directional gyro system and automatic radio compasses (ARK-9 / ARK-15).


Main FunctionsHeading Display: 


Continuously shows the aircraft's heading (magnetic or true) on a rotating inner scale (0°–360°).

Radio Tracking: 

Two independent pointer needles show the exact direction (bearing) to ground-based radio beacons.

Angular Calculation: 

Allows immediate reading of the Relative Bearing of the Radio Station (RB/КУР).

An-2 (Modernized variants retrofitted with gyro systems)

An-24 / An-26 / An-30 (Regional turboprops and military cargo transports)
