The Glow Object 180W Electronic Ballast is designed to power compatible 180W Low Pressure Sodium (LPS / SOX) lamps, including lamps based on the Philips SOX-180W system and similar 180W low pressure sodium lighting systems. Its integrated electronic design eliminates the need for a separate transformer or external ignitor, providing a compact and simplified solution for specialty, commercial, industrial, and outdoor lighting applications.
This ballast is designed for applications requiring the distinctive monochromatic amber output of Low Pressure Sodium (LPS / SOX) lighting. When paired with a compatible LPS lamp, it can be used in a variety of controlled lighting environments.
Suitable for compatible outdoor lighting installations such as roads, pathways, parking areas, bridges, tunnels, coastal locations, seaports, community pathways, hotel pathways, and other specialty outdoor lighting applications where low-glare amber illumination is desired.
