The Fairground is a place of constant movement, with its bright lights and variety of eye-catching rides. The main attraction being the Ferris Wheel.

The original Ferris Wheel was constructed in 1946 and driven for approximately 20 years by the Michel family. They were from Fuerth/Bavaria and had been in show buisness from 1886.

The "Michel's" Ferris Wheel from the "60's" is driven by a powerful engine which provides a realistic movement. The gondolas swing freely on their filigree struts. A special effect is created by the lights shining through the columns and the arms (Lights are included).
