**** I've added a "bad" video of it doing it's thing. Sorry, it's sideways but you'll get the idea. Note: Sometimes the marble get's stuck inside. Maybe it's too dusty or it needs a heavier marble--- like a metal one.
I really don't know what this would be called or where it was made. I found just One similar item doing a Google picture search and it was from a company in Germany and the website was all in German. So I don't know if it's a semi-unique item made by an Artisan or maybe there is a genre of them. If anybody has an information, I would be grateful.
It has Xylophone-like striker-plates that have key-tone letters on them and you can change the position of the pieces throughout the tower to change the tune when you drop a marble through it. It measures about 27 inches tall and the bottom bowl is about 9 inches wide. The top bowl is about 6 inches. There are no maker's marks or writing on it, other than the graphics and the tone-letters on the "keys."
It's all in Excellent condition, with some minimal nicks and wear marks.
