Estate purchased Stanley 605 Bed Rock Flat Sided Jack Plane. I believe this is a type 9. Body is marked Bed Rock Made In USA, no patent date, SW iron, Stanley lever cap with orange.

Looks to be a very nice example that could easily be put back to work.

Handle and Knob are crack free. Body is crack free. Most of the black finish remains. There was some surface rust on the sole that I used wd40 and 000 steel wool on. Some staining remains, but it feels pretty smooth with no major pitting.
