The Fujikura FSM-70S is a professional-grade, core-to-core alignment single fibre fusion splicer designed for high-efficiency splicing of SM, MM, DS, CS, NZDS and erbium-doped fibres. It delivers a typical splice time of just 7 seconds and tube heating in as little as 13 seconds, making it one of the fastest splicers available for field or van-based deployment. The 70S features an automated programmable wind protector, clamshell tube heater, mirror-less optical system, and a severe-impact resistant 4.7-inch TFT colour LCD monitor, all housed in a rugged chassis that withstands a 762 mm (30-inch) drop test.
