An incredibly rare and extremely collectible ORIGINAL and VERY EARLY gig flyer / poster for a Blow Monkeys gig at the Huddersfield Student Union on Tuesday 28th January, I am almost certain in 1986. This date matches with the trajectory of their career and it was also a Tuesday in this year.
The flyer also includes adverts for gigs on the 2 subsequent nights, by "Except for Access" and "Fatal Charm".
You can tell this is an original poster / flyer from the colour of the paper, and the print - if it was a reproduction it would look and feel completely different - I also know that the person I obtained this from was a massive collector of genuine music memorabilia, an obsessive Bowie fan and had absolutely huge volumes of material from this era.
Please see pictures - size is A4 and it is printed with green ink, a really retro (cheap printing!!) look!
It has one crease down the centre vertically but this could almost certainly be ironed out, it is only a light crease and does not affect the printing of the poster at all. There are no rips and it has been protected in a plastic sleeve for many years.
