Originally released in 1976 and now celebrating its 50th anniversary with this lush new picture disc reissue, the self-titled debut from NYC leather jacket punk immortals Ramones still remains the mother of all iconic blueprints. Banging out the recording in the span of a week at Plaza Sound studio, due to both economics and it simply being all the time the band required, they would leave with a half-hour of material that would truly shape the sound of punk to come.
