Description
The OptiMate 2 Duo smart charger-maintainer is the cost-effective solution for long-term maintenance of lead acid and lithium batteries in any vehicle / craft that is stored in or outdoors.
Ideal for all types of 12V lead acid and 12.8V/13.2V lithium LFP batteries, 2 Amps of charge current is delivered making it ideal for long-term maintenance of larger batteries as well.
Supplied with two interchangeable connection sets, one with clamps for bench charging, and the other with in-line protection fuse and eyelet terminals for permanent attachment to in-vehicle battery to allow easy reconnection of charger when necessary.

I have three bikes, all on optimates. Two out of the three are this optimate 2. It's a no fuss, plug and forget battery manager, which is exactly what I need. If anyone has doubts, my last bike was a ZX10R which was 14 years old when I sold it, still with the original battery kept in good order by an optimate.

The lights let you know that the battery is still healthy enough to recover form a slow discharge after being unused over winter. What is great I can now leave it on charge and forget about it a sit will maintain the battery. What is frustrating is the mains lead isn t very long and I had disuse an extention

Good bit of kit seems to be well made with everything you need to connect it to your bike and screw to the wall so its handy but out the way. slight problem ordering it but the lads in the help centre sorted it out in no time at all and it was with me the next day. usual high standards to expect and get from Sportsbikeshop.
