hello!
thank you for looking at this listing.
while we've provided multiple photos, item details, and a thorough description of this item's condition, here's a little more info:
this is a working original Shure Brothers vintage harp / harmonica mic / microphone from the late 1950s or circa 1960. it's a Shure 520 Green Bullet high impedance CM aka high level "controlled magnetic microphone with white label that has black print and 99B86 tag inside. this version is preferred by many to new / newer reproductions.
it's also a piece of audio recording / performing history and comes in its original specially labeled box, and with original data sheet and catalog reply postcard paperwork. these mics rarely turn up with original extras like these!
and even though it's already included in this listing, here's more about the condition of what we're offering here: see our multiple photos for any visible wear -- this vintage circa late 1950s or 1960 original microphone is in used but very good and working condition -- it comes in its original Shure branded box, which is still fully intact except that it's missing its lid. also comes with two original inserts that came with the mic when new: its Model 520 "Data Sheet" and a business reply post card that could've been sent in for a Shure catalog. the data sheet is intact but has wrinkles / creases / visual wear. the postcard is in nice shape with some light imperfections to be expected from age.
we've made sure to show / let you know everything you need to know about this item, so it's being sold as-is and returns are not accepted. but you can count on getting what's shown and described here -- our feedback speaks for itself.
