SG 232-34 3d Dull Purple on Orange Yellow Concise shades set of seven basic ordinary and chalk papers in fine to very fine used condition.

A lovely set all with fine and attractive CDS cancellation and a price tag set well below what you may expect to pay for individually purchased stamps along with the full guarantee of correct identification here.

Hopefully some at least will see the difference between the more lemons shades of the right hand pair of 233b and 234 that are all too often ( in mint and used) offered up as one of the scarce trio of earlier chalk coated issues seen here in the middle of the scanned set.

The true tell is under our great friend the long wave UV light but buyers of used stamps can protect themselves to a great degree by not buying anything with a 1908 or later dates tamp being offered as either M20 (1,2 or 3) as the chances are very remote that they will be correct.

Dates not always the perfect way to identify used stamps as the observant will note the 1906 date on the first stamp here that would normally' place it in the chalk coated issues but not the case here.

The reason of course is that in 1907 we stopped buying the lead chromate containing inks from America when there was a public outcry from the fact people believed they would get lead poisoning from licking them, despite the fact most still had lead pipework and plumbing in their homes.

All lots carry a full no quibble refund for the full original price but exclude return postage costs. Any single or combined purchase totalling £50 or over will be charged for and sent as special delivery or equivalent if overseas unless paid for by cheque and cheaper postage option is requested.
Any further questions can be sent via eBay message or e-mail contact direct through my web site  at Business seller complete information below.

Please take time to view my other listed lots or contact me with any specific requirements as, like many sellers, I have large quantities of unlisted stock in many areas generally well below normal retail.
In particular I have large stocks of certified Edward VII shades and varieties with many scarcer and unlisted ones particularly keenly priced.

Very keen to buy similar lots at the very best of prices. I believe I offer some of the best prices available and will always fully and correctly identify lots to lead to significantly higher offers than many who just skim over and offer as basic stamps, shades or varieties often costing hundreds of pounds on individual lots alone.

Please contact me if you think you have material that is similar and may be of interest. Thanks.

I can now offer an Excel spreadsheet of all listed and unlisted Edward V11 shades that can be printed off in colour coded format for use as a ticketing system for reference collections of this era. If interested please contact me through web site as this is a free offer not able to list separately here.
