The Pentax IQZoom 160 is a late-1990s 35mm point-and-shoot film camera featuring an impressive 38–160mm SMC Pentax zoom lens — one of the longest zoom ranges offered in a consumer compact of its era. Manufactured by Asahi Opt. Co. Ltd. and assembled in the Philippines, it was marketed to travel and everyday photographers who wanted serious reach in a pocketable body. The SMC (Super-Multi-Coated) optics are a hallmark of Pentax quality, delivering sharp, contrasty images across the zoom range.

Condition

This camera is in good overall condition with minor signs of normal use. It powers on, the built-in flash fires, and it was tested with film — the auto film advance worked properly. The lens appears clear with no visible haze or fungus. The LCD display is functional; a faint vertical line or smudge is visible on the bottom-left segment of the display, noted in the close-up photos. No significant dents, cracks, or deep scratches are visible on the body.
