You are bidding on a wonderful vintage 1970's handmade denim quilt measuring 81" x 64".  Found in a closet of an estate, this quilt has a variety of denim jeans pieces stitched together (with Budweiser cotton and a few other small spots of cotton) on one side and a striped pattern with an overlay of flowers that are highly stylized with a paisley style design.  The quilt is an absolutely terrific example from the 1979's and features many Wrangler back pockets and a tab, Landlubber tab and much more. These can be dated to the 1970's so I'm confident in the 1970s date for this quilt. There are lots of pockets, unique designs and a variety of adornments.  It also has "ties" throughout the quilt.  Very unique.

CONDITION: So the condition isn't ideal but I have not washed it and want the future owner to determine how they want it cleaned.  It has a number of stains and a couple spots of paint, which for something like this adds charm.  There are also a couple of tears, usually along the seams.  PLEASE look at photos for a complete understanding of condition.  Again, I have not washed or cleaned it.  And it has a slightly musty closet odor, but I aired it out for a day and that helped a lot.

Shipping costs are based on weight and distance from my home in Fairhaven, MA.  I'm also open to local pick-up at my home in Fairhaven, but don't offer that in listing since it occasionally shows "local pick-up only" to potential when I check that box.

I've been selling on Ebay since 1998 but this is not a full time job. I'm happy to answer all questions but please be aware that these questions are normally answered after I have returned home from work. I encourage you to look at my other auctions for a wide variety of items. I often sell glass, pottery, books, art, clothing and other unusual items one may find at yard sales and estate sales. Best of luck in your bidding and thanks for your time looking at my auction.
