This is a good working original factory hood latch release cable for 1974-1978 Cadillac Eldorado/Fleetwood Brougham

If you look at the photos you can see the long white connector has a piece broken but the cable does still release and work properly

This is an assembly line correct genuine GM latch not aftermarket junk
