The EXFO FTB-2 is a compact, Windows-based modular test platform designed for multirate, multi-technology fibre testing in access, LAN/WAN, FTTx and fronthaul/backhaul networks. This unit is configured with two FTBx modules: the FTBx-720C-SM1-EI singlemode OTDR covering 1310 and 1550 nm, and the FTBx-945-SM1-EA singlemode OLTS module for fully automated insertion loss, ORL and fibre length measurements — delivering a complete Tier-1 and OTDR-based Tier-2 test capability from a single platform. Both modules were confirmed ready and active via EXFO ToolBox X software at test.
