The VIAVI (formerly JDSU) FBP-P5000i is a digital handheld fiber end-face inspection microscope that automatically inspects and certifies fiber connector end-faces to IEC 61300-3-35 and user-selectable acceptance criteria. It delivers instant, objective PASS/FAIL results at the push of a button, eliminating subjective guesswork from the certification process. The probe connects via USB to a wide range of VIAVI test platforms as well as standard laptops, PCs, and Android mobile devices.
