Installation

check

to see if you require a

PRV - pressure reducing valve

before installation

to comply with filter specifications

1/ Turn off water supply

*
2/ Run off some water from dispenser

to release pressure in system

3/ Old used water filter

remove & keep as spares

small red circlips or small blue circlips

Push-In & Hold-In

blue collet / collar at filter ends

to allow for removal of

water lines / water tubing

note

used filter will be full of water

water will drain from filter + piping

have bucket + towels ready

4/ Line up new filter

check

flow direction is correct

see diagram on side of box

*

5/ Check tubing ends as they can degrade

if so simply cut carefully + cleanly

to present new connections

*

6/ New water filter

first remove & keep safe

small red circlip or small blue circlip

Push-In & Hold-In

blue - collet (collar) at filter ends

to allow removal of

grey or black dust caps

7/ Now - Connect

mains water supply end to new filter

firmly push in

water lines / water tubing

attach

small red circlip or small blue circlip

pull gently on tubing

to lock in place

8/ Gradually turn water supply on

*

9/ Flush fridge water filter system

run water thru filter into a bucket

until water runs clear

note

as with all new water filters

10/ Turn water off

*

11/ Connect

fridge side to out end of new filter

firmly push-in

water lines / water tubing

attach

small red circlip or small blue circlip

pull gently on tubing

to lock in place

12/ Gradually turn water on

run water to remove air locks

check

carefully for water leaks
