Five consecutive years of vintage Sprint Car wall calendars. 1989-1993. It’s not going to be possible to photograph every “flaw” in this set— none of them are “perfect” in any way. These were on display long after the year ended. And when they were taken down, they were stored in a box in the back of the unheated garage near Chicago. The things they all have in common are that they have never been written on. They were never actually calendars to track what day it is— these were hung side by side with the trains and the boats. But they sure were loved— they’ve been read through for the facts, the stories and the photos. And they show it— all the dents you get when you read a magazine, they’re there. The yellowing on the back covers and grease spots- they’re there. The musty smell of the garage… well, that’s there too. Th e’res a lot of really great photos So please review all pictures carefully and if you need a closer look at anything, just ask. We can send pictures back and forth as much as needed. We can also split these up— just send a message.

This set will ship out flat— individually wrapped and layered between cardboard to keep from bending. This will ship priority mail because we use recycled priority materials, so if the outer layer of kraft paper gets wet, the package still says priority all over it. Currently it’s a $2 difference between ground advantage and priority. We pay exactly what you pay for shipping so when you make an offer— which no reasonable one is ever refused— you know why we’re “extra” on the price. On a personal level, though, it’s because the insurance is everything to us— these are personal items and the only ones we have… getting it to you quickly is an added bonus.
