You are bidding on one ACEO of a four-part ACEO series. I may or may not add to this series in the future, depending on demand.

The watermark is not on the ACEO card; it is signed on the backside like all of my ACEOs.

NOTES:

Pre-Shipment Prep:

• Watercolor — usually sealed with wax to protect, unless I think it’s ill-advised.

• Gouache paintings — I sometimes seal gouache with cold wax if there is no concern of smudging, but not always.

• Acrylic and oil paintings — varnished before shipping if on canvas, wood or paper, unless otherwise noted.

• Graphite or Charcoal Drawings — fixative is applied to ensure it’s sealed but please note that it can still smudge if you try to smudge it.

• Oil Pastels — sealed with fixative and listing will state that it must be framed under glass with a mat to prevent the glass from touching the surface. Note that oil pastels never fully dry and must be protected from dust or contact.

• Alcohol marker — no sealing, painted on paper specifically designed for alcohol markers. The paper I use is 160lb/280gsm.

• Prints — no sealing, printed on premium 150lb cardstock or appropriate paper, depending on the medium being printed. I use Epson ET8550 wide format printer on the correct paper for the artwork.

Shipping Processes: I try to ship within 2-3 business days. Ordinarily, I will ship the day after payment.

I make every effort to keep the painting from being bent but given the post office’s processes, this cannot be guaranteed. This especially applies to ACEOs as the post office puts them through sorting machines. If a painting is bent in any way, spritz the back with distilled water and put it face down with very heavy books on top for 48 hours. Since I use watercolor or oil papers, that will straighten out the paper. Do not get the front wet.

My non-ACEO paintings are shipped with a hard backing board and protected in cellophane to keep from being bent during shipping.

For prints, all prints are of my original work, printed in full-size or shrunken down to make into ACEOs. If you are interested in the original, feel free to reach out.
