Antique Chinese Carved Hardwood Vase Stand

A well-made antique Chinese hardwood display stand of attractive rounded form, carved from a solid piece of wood.

The stand is raised on five shaped ruyi-form feet with small carved details, with shaped open panels around the sides. The wood has a rich dark patina and displays well.

Overall diameter: approx. 15 cm

Inner display diameter: approx. 10.5 cm

Height: approx. 5.2 cm

Condition:

The top has an old drilled hole, which does not pass completely through the base. There are also natural age-related splits to the wood, together with normal surface wear and marks consistent with age and use.

No significant losses or major repairs noted.
