This is a nice looking old case from around the 1920's to 30's, with a croc. patterned cloth covering to the hard wooden shelled

case, with working catches and leather handle.

It is surprisingly slimline in its design, being barely only an inch or so wider and longer than a couple of similar aged single violin cases that I have here. 

The outer covering has some age related marks, and wear to the corners where it covers the metal rim.

The plush interior is still bright and clean.

It would suit two violins with body lengths of up to 14". The width across both rear bouts is 8.25", and 6.75" across the front bouts.
