This auction is for a Unimax Forces of Valor Martin B-26B Marauder Bomber in 1:72 scale. These planes are models of actual fighters that fought in WWII. The plane depicted in this model is named "Shootin In" as it flew with the 387th BG, 556 BS, during 1945. These Forces of Valor's 1:72 scale B-26s are a great value, featuring details usually found in higher priced models. Each model has hand applied weathering that brings out the access panels and riveting details across it surface. The large canopy provides a clear view of the figures and there is a 360 degree rotating dorsal machine gun turret and fully rendered wheel wells, with detailed hydraulic lines. Two sets of bomb bay doors are provided - a closed set and a folded open set, that reveals bombs, bomb racks, and bulkhead details inside the fuselage. The solid metal wing has separately applied transparent landing lights, and the landing gear is constructed as a complete subassembly, which makes this model easy to configure for a ground display. This model is made of die-cast metal with some plastic parts. It comes mint in the original box. The box has some light shelf wear (see photos). Ask any questions before bidding. PAYMENT: Please don't bid if you don't plan to pay. Payment must be received within five days from close of auction. FORCES OF VALOR FOV B-26B MARAUDER "SHOOTIN IN" 1:72 SCALE MIB DIE-CAST 85046.
