This is a ms2724b just like the a and c models as well as the latter e and t models mentioned.

9 khz to 20 ghz ! That's quite a range and the phase noise is stupid low for a handheld! It rivals the n9918c fieldfoxes even!!! For phase noise even beats it !!!

I demand low phase noise so it's vital in our lab. But  need one with tracking gen(Uber rare) .

Low spurious compared to rohde handhelds and blows them out of the water in phase noise .

For spectral purity Anritsu has been the leader in handhelds every year for 20 years! Filedfoxes are nice too but who can afford one?

Brand new acrylic LCD cover. So display looks like new again! (These typically start to bubble by crystallization and yellowing of epoxy meeting the mesh but we eliminated that so you'll never have that issue.

It has a 4 ghz preamp! So it gets ultra small level signals!  Approx -150 dbm ish!

We fixed all the buttons so they press easy now which is another major issue most of these come with.

Works beautifully within cal. There are two small spots in the flatness span that are borderline pass/fail but pass. So full cal cert included.other than that everything passes full cal with ease  . Also the amplitude fluctuations are very common in Anritsu handhelds but this one outperforms most I've come across. Most of them will be 5 db or more off thruout the whole vco band , this one's no more than 2.5 db off at only 2 spots and right on the money elsewhere!

No random noise spikes (another common enemy of this line caused by vco LOs)

I also have a desktop version for cheaper . Same  identical design 20 ghz  but instead of a battery it sits straight and has 120v input. 5k$ only.
