This listing  is for a brand new  thorlabs 40 gb/s  and 20 ghz ++ rated optical modulator driver to connect to an external modulator .

You need to provide a laser into it like the agilent or HP  type etc....and the modulator and this drives the modulator by amplifying the microwave signal and attenuating the optical input plus sending the right bias output to the modulator.

Plus it's touch screen and so easy to use !
