Andy’s tag reads: “Johnny Gruelle’s Own Raggedy Andy Doll © John B. Gruelle 1920–1937, Renewed by Myrtle Gruelle 1948–1965” with the Georgene Novelties approval stamp.
Both dolls stand approximately 15 inches tall and feature the classic red yarn loop hair, printed faces with triangle nose and rosy cheeks, red and white striped stockings, and black shoes. Andy wears his original blue pants and red gingham shirt; Ann wears her original floral dress with white apron and bloomers. Both show age-appropriate wear consistent with their 60+ years.
