Drive Configuration

The 6JKL uses Floway's tapered friction collet drive system rather

than a keyed shaft mount. This is the standard factory configuration

for Floway vertical turbine pumps through 22-inch bowl size. The

smooth 1.28" bore is the finished/correct condition — no keyway is

required or expected for this pump series.

Application

The Floway 6JKL is a single-stage-per-bowl enclosed-impeller vertical

turbine pump used in:

- Municipal water supply and well systems

- Agricultural irrigation

- Industrial water transfer

- Fire protection (NFPA 20 fire pump applications)

- Power plant cooling water service

This impeller is the rotating component that energizes the pumped

fluid in each bowl assembly. Pumps are stacked in multi-stage

configurations to develop higher head.

Condition

Used — appears unused. Light storage oxidation visible on bronze

surfaces. No service wear, no vane damage, vane tips intact. Has

not been in original factory packaging during my ownership. Sold

as "used - good" out of an abundance of caution. Photos show the

actual item being sold.
