Well, after 40yrs in the business, I’m finally retiring. Although many of my fellow fabricators, producers & directors have said: “You’ll never retire. You love the stress too much”.

My work spans many film/tv styles: The Dark Knight, Mars Attacks, Jurassic World, Grimm, The Librarians, Green Room, Just Shoot Me!, CSI, Star Trek, and The Book of Eli.

For the first 3 Seasons of Grimm, including the pilot, I was their props fabricator. During this time, I fabricated nearly 760 items for the show. This included books, specialty knives & guns, an alien rifle, a sarcophagus, all the folding keys, the Heart Hex Box, skulls, all the scythes (including the rotating heads and the suitcase version) and a sh*tload more.  

With that said - time to unload some of my screen-used items from the shop. Some TV, some films, some music videos. This will take time, so I can only post as they come to me. So please be patient.

Here is the Sledge Hammer made for the episode Volcanalis (Season 2) - used to destroy the creature. Made of dense rubber and mounted tightly on a custom handle. Because of the dense rubber, it has some weight to it - not as much as a real sledge hammer. Painted black with silver worn ends. This stunt hammer was used 6 times during filming this scene. The hammer was also used during Season 3, I just forgot the episode.

The hammer was also used in 2 indie films & 3 commercials - as a rental. Came back in the same great condition.
