Up for sale is a rare Harptone USA Acoustic Guitar .
This is one of the soughtafter versions due to the Maple finish and contoured flamed back. As you are probably aware players like George Harrison and David Bowie used this brand If you are after a mint example then this will not be for you , it has various playing , wear , scrapes and scratches but no cracks - there is one small stress mark on the tuner .
The bridge has been reglued at some point . The action measures around 3.7m and 3.5mm at the 12th fret with not much room for movement on the saddle - it plays fine in the first position due to the zero fret - currently strung with a set of 10s.
Not too sure if the frets are original as they look like jumbo frets . the bridge saddle works but has a crack in it.
Comes with a non original hard case not a perfect fit but will get the guitar from a to b, This is one of the last from my personal collection which I am selling off due to a hand injury and downsizing ,.
