This old beautifully carved Baga ceremonial drum has origins to Guinea
Decorated with a male and female figures back to back on the base.
Four heads between the drum head, which is mounted with a hard leather.
When tuned, still has a good sound.
These types of drums were used for weddings, funerals and other ceremonies.
There are many age related cracks, chips and marks, please watch pictures well.
It has been with me for a very long time, but now needs new home.
