Being offered is a genuine issued empty WWII Distinguished Flying Cross vintage case box in used condition along with a full medal set to include lapel pin & ribbon bar. This type of case was known as a "medal coffin" by the troops who received decorations within them because of their appearance and being made of wood. The letters on the top of the case are imprinted in gold along with a border and are clearly legible although there is some damage to the leatherette skin of the case.  Otherwise, the case is in good condition to include the hinges.
