This is a stunning set of decorative sugar tongs in solid silver. I can make out the lion stamped on the inside of the tongs, near the top, and a distorted kings head and lion passant on the other side, which would indicate they may be quite old, but my knowledge of hallmarks is strictly limited. They are about 135 mm long, 17 mm wide at the curved end and weigh 33.5 grams.
