This is a comprehensive, compact fly tying kit containing hardware, bench tools, instructional books, a fly box and a large assortment of natural and synthetic materials. Meticulously packed into a rugged Shimano utility box, this entire setup has a small footprint designed for tying at home or traveling to the water.  The box measures 14" x 8 3/4" x 3". This water-resistant case protects your feathers and furs from damp air and elements. It includes the original extra compartment dividers sealed in a Ziploc bag so you can customize the layout. While curated with saltwater patterns in mind, the materials in this lot—including the bucktail, furs, and flash—are equally essential for tying large freshwater streamers, bass bugs, and river sculpins.  

NOTE: All items in this lot are in used condition with visible signs of wear from age and field use. This lot includes a mix of items, but please note that even the "New Old Stock" (NOS) packaging may have been opened, and the materials within may be partially used. The Thompson vise and bench tools show clear signs of field use, including surface blemishes, scuffs, scratches, and wear from regular handling, though all remain fully functional. The hand-tied flies housed in a vintage Perrine #99 fly box included from the previous owner show signs of use and are not in pristine condition, as some feature loose threads, missing eyes, leftover line, or material wear.  The Metz scissors have a stain on handle.

Wing & Flash, assorted open/used Flash packets, Mylar Tinsel, Floss, Fly Tying Threads, bench wax, a Metz Bunny Fly Pattern instruction card, one partial box of Mustad Hooks, and a varied supply of loose hooks dedicated for Streamers, Nymphs, Dry and Wet Flies.  

Books:  Also included are two classic hardcover books complete with original book jackets showing light shelf wear: Clouser's Flies: Tying & Fishing the Fly Patterns of Bob Clouser by Bob Clouser (2006 copyright) and Saltwater Fly Tying by Frank Wentink with a foreword by Dick Talleur (1991 copyright). Books may contain writing (ink, pencil), stains, blemishes, creases, dog-eared, tears on jacket covers, etc.
