Book in gilt decorated green cloth, top edge green, pictorial endpapers. Fine condition but for some tanning/foxing to endpapers. Fairly scarce dust jacket with repaired tear and tiny losses to head and tail of spine. 8 colour plates by Rackham and 52 delightful line drawings. Pages are x,133. 

This copy has all the points of the first edition as listed by Riall, including pictorial endpapers and Rackham adverts on the verso of the half title page.  However the top edge is green, not gilt, and the dust jacket lists "Where the Blue Begins" in the adverts, which means the dust jacket is 1925 in date.  Riall lists a 1925 edition, separate from the 1918 edition, despite it being dated 1918 and identical in terms of pages etc. This copy would appear to be a first edition printing but bound in the 1925 style.
