Description

The Small Cable Drum is a compact, empty cable reel designed for storing, transporting and deploying a wide range of cables. It is suitable for power, audio, lighting, AV, data, speaker and network cabling, making it a practical choice for stage, event, installation and general cable management use.

Built with a tough metal frame and a strong impact-resistant plastic drum, it offers reliable performance for regular use. The rubber-coated handle provides a secure and comfortable grip, while the three outer hand grips allow the drum to be rotated easily when winding or unwinding cable.

The drum includes a 15 mm internal cable feed hole through the central metal blanking plate. The blanking plate can be removed using three screws, allowing sockets to be fitted if required. A spare cable collar helps keep excess cable neat, and the locking mechanism prevents the reel from rotating when not in use.

Note: When using with mains power, always fully unwind the cable before switching on to help prevent heat build-up caused by coiled cable.
