Here is an early shoulder plane that comprises of a blade a metal body, a wooden base and wedge either side of the blade and a wooden front insert. I have looked carefully and cannot see a makers name. It does have the name E.A.DAVIES on 2 of the wooden pieces. Which I assume is a previous owner.
