A 1958-spec Telecaster with a Journeyman Relic finish, showing signs of being played but not roughly handled. This is a 2022 Fender Custom Shop 1958 Telecaster Journeyman Relic.
It features an ash body, a 10/56 V-shaped quarter-sawn maple neck, a 9.5R maple fingerboard with 6105 narrow-tall frets, a spaghetti logo, and Custom Shop Fat 50s Tele pickups. Weighing a perfect 3.43kg, this guitar boasts a vintage feel not only in its looks but also in its sound.
It combines player-focused specifications, such as a satin-finished neck that replicates aging and a 9.5R fingerboard suitable for modern playing styles. The tone capacitor was missing (original missing), so it has been replaced with a similar value 1970s capacitor.
Aside from the atmospheric aging process, there are some signs of use (scratches, wipe marks, pick marks, etc.), but it is in good condition. The guitar was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment).
The frets are in good condition and playability is not affected. The truss rod has been checked and is functioning correctly up to 60° in both directions.
