Up for sale is an incredibly rare piece of 90s subculture fashion: a singular pair of genuine Dr. Martens AirWair baggy denim jeans. The only pair we have, and the only pair we've ever seen on the market. Produced during the height of the 1990s grunge, alternative, and skate movements, these jeans feature a classic wide-leg silhouette designed to stack perfectly over vintage boots or chunky skate shoes.

Cut from heavy-duty, premium quality denim, this pair boasts a phenomenal light-to-medium wash with authentic, era-correct distressing that cannot be replicated by modern factory techniques. Complete with original Dr. Martens branded hardware, robust rivets, and the iconic AirWair signature detailing, these are a durable testament to the golden era of American-made streetwear. 

Company History: While universally famous for their iconic yellow-stitched leather boots born in 1960, Dr. Martens briefly expanded into high-durability apparel during the 1990s to cater to the burgeoning alternative rock and grunge scenes. Because this apparel line was produced in limited quantities and primarily manufactured in the USA for the domestic market before the brand shifted global production, surviving denim pieces from this era have become highly sought-after collector grails.

Condition

Excellent vintage condition with fantastic structural integrity and a heavy-duty feel. Features authentic, era-correct character wear including natural fraying along the hem edges and pockets, along with beautiful, localized scuffs and distressing consistent with genuine 1990s grunge and skate wear. Stain can be seen on the front left pant leg - we have not attempted to remove it. Original hardware is fully functional. Sold exactly as pictured. Note on Sizing: The factory tag indicates a 32" inseam, but these have been custom raw-hemmed to a 27" inseam, perfectly replicating the iconic era-correct cropped silhouette worn to stack over chunky skate shoes or boots.
