This is an find original governor detent for an Associated Chore Boy or United hit and miss gas engine.  It is part number ACA and is about 9 inches long.  It has a very old and solid gas weld repair that can be seen in the pictures.  The speed control knob moves as it should.  It will need a new spring and possibly a roller but is otherwise ready to go to work for you.  It would also make a great spare on the shelf.  The pictures tell the story.  It would surely beat making one or maybe trying to repair yours!  I can be reached at 262 573 193 1 if you'd like to talk about it.  Good Luck.
