The Fujikura 22S is a compact active V-groove alignment fusion splicer designed for FTTH, FTTx, PON, and access network splicing applications. Combining the alignment accuracy of moveable V-grooves with a rugged, field-ready chassis, it delivers typical single-mode splice losses of 0.03 dB in a package weighing just 1,140 g including the battery. With a fast splice cycle, sunlight-readable 4.73" colour LCD, and dual-camera observation system, the 22S is well suited to both in-duct and aerial field work.
