The Corning® Cell Counter (REF 6749), developed in partnership with CytoSMART Technologies, is a compact USB-connected automated cell counter that combines the accuracy of manual counting with the speed of automation — without the recurring cost of disposable slides. The instrument connects to a Windows 10 or later PC via USB 3.0 and leverages the CytoSMART Cloud App and Microsoft Azure cloud computing platform to deliver cell concentration, viability, and size results in under three seconds. With an optional Organoid Counting software activation key (cat. 6749-OC), the same hardware can rapidly characterise 3D cell cultures, reporting organoid concentration per mL and surface area data using a machine learning algorithm engineered for irregular and spherical morphologies.
