Product Summary: This is an authentic, substantial Japanese natural whetstone (JNAT) from the Shohonyama region in Kyoto. It is a visually striking Renge Shiro Suita (蓮華白巣板), famous for its beautiful lotus-blossom pink and golden specks set against a milky white background. This stone is characterized by its extremely soft texture (Goku-nanshitsu), ensuring effortless, rich, and rapid slurry production. It is highly recommended for users who prefer a smooth, high-feedback, softer sharpening sensation on kitchen knives and other fine cutlery.

Condition: Unused condition. This is a massive, exceptionally thick block-shaped stone (46mm thickness) with a wide sharpening surface. Please note that this stone is classified as a B-grade/second-class item (二級品) because multiple prominent natural lines cross the surface and can be physically felt during the sharpening process.
