Faded spine maybe from sun and continued to a stripe on back cover. Prior owners name signed on firat pages with an old price mark. Rough cut pages but like a gold color on top of book with smooth pages. Ends of rough cut pages are showing age and dirt . First illustration page looks to like fold over and link in to other pages so it leaves a small partial strip of paper...see photo. The other illustration pages dont do this so not sure why the first one does, it could be a repair but does not look to me like anyone repaired the book but I am no expert on old books. First page and cover when opened has a split down inside cover. All illustrated pagea are there with thin paper covers. The first pages are not rough cut and a bit smaller than refular pages so maybe a repair... I just dont know. The back last page is similar woth a clean cut oage just a tad smaller.
