This newly designed tripod combines the functionality of an astronomical telescope tripod and a camera tripod.
Perfectly matched to the AP series and Porta II altazimuth mounts, it can also accommodate the GP2 equatorial mount. (The HF2 altazimuth mount can also be mounted, but the tripod must be fully extended.)
Its three-section telescopic design allows it to be 130cm high, roughly the same height as a typical telescope tripod, but extremely compact at approximately 60cm when stored.
It maintains the strength of a telescope tripod while also achieving the portability and storage ease of a camera tripod.
The tripod feet are equipped with adjustable feet, similar to those used on camera tripods.
