Improvements:
- Change to synchronous wheel drive harmonic, which has better tracking accuracy than the first generation.
- Added a counterweight rod with a length of 15 centimeters and a diameter of 12 millimeters.
- It is 200 grams lighter than the first generation.
- The right ascension axis on the outer shell is hidden inside the shell. The direction of the line is also more reasonable than the first generation.

Features:
- With a body weight of 1.3 kilograms and an unloaded weight of about 5 kilograms. The 3D-printed shell has sufficient strength and supports telephoto lenses or 80ED.
- Actual measurement: a caliber of 130 and a focal length of 650, the precision of the Sky-Watcher 130EQ is around 0.6 to 1. Considering the long-term service life, it is recommended to use a maximum of 72ED refractive index or 200-600 lens.
- The control box and equatorial mount are designed as one unit, and the laser polar axis cannot be powered on for a long time. The equatorial mount is powered by a 12V DC interface.

There are three control methods for equatorial mount:
- Onstep Control: Bluetooth or WiFi control is added to the mobile app, and Onstep includes automatic star finding and remote location control functions.
- Astronomy Box Control: Both red and black boxes are available, with automatic star finding, automatic star correction, automatic star guiding, automatic polar axis alignment, and remote direction control.
- Computer Control: for Windows system industrial control computers or laptops, using for Nina software, but note that users need to spend time debugging and learning, and the difficulty of getting started is greater than that of astronomical boxes.
