■ Renovation details

1. Socketing the internal battery.
The built-in battery is now socketed, making battery replacement easy.
The battery has been replaced with a new ML2032 rechargeable battery.
I ran it for over 3 hours using my own software while charging, and confirmed that it was working correctly.

2. Replace the fuse for the controller port.
I replaced the fuse in the controller port on the main unit with a resettable fuse.
The original fuse is prone to blowing if you plug or unplug a power strip or similar device while the system is running, and once it blows, it cannot be restored without replacing the fuse.
This product is designed so that if the fuse trips, it will recover by unplugging the power and leaving it for about 1 minute.

3. Cleaning and Maintenance
The main unit has been cleaned with alcohol.
(Please excuse any minor stains that may remain.)
The pickup lens has also been cleaned.

4. Contact Maintenance
The Dreamcast-side connectors on the included controller and video cable are:
We have applied contact cleaner to ensure long-term use.

■ Condition:
The main unit has been fitted with a brand new shell and is in very good condition.
However, accessories (controller, visual memory, etc.)
There is some discoloration and damage due to age.
Please also understand that this equipment is over 20 years old before making your decision.
*As this is a used item, the power cord and video cable may be third-party products.

*The controller and Visual Memory Unit show signs of age-related discoloration and scratches.
