Comments: Paltscho was founded in 1899 by Ernest Paltscho and soon commissioned jewellery for the Austro-Hungarian aristocracy and Greek Royal Household. His son, Erwin, later joined the firm in 1918. The firm produced finely crafted pieces influenced by the aesthetics of the Art Deco period and frequently inspired by the natural world. In 1964, Paltscho was the only Austrian firm to exhibit at the International Exhibition in New York
